What does Branding mean?
Branding is related to the values and culture of a company (the intangible elements) and the overall strategic plan for your brand so that your audience perceives your business as you intend. Basically what your customers think of you. It is the active process of shaping the perceptions that consumers have about your company. We help you "build" a brand and dig into the core why of your company.
In a nutshell, we help you create a strong, positive perception of your company, its products or services by combining elements such as colors, fonts, logo design, mission statement, purpose and a consistent theme throughout all marketing communications collateral. Think of a company you are familiar with, most likely, due to their "branding and identity"; logo, colors, tagline, reputation, etc.. think Ikea, Nike, Coca-Cola, Adidas, Starbucks, etc.
What does Brand Identity mean?
It is through the process of Branding that you build your Brand Identity. This is the actual (tangible or sensory) elements used to identify a brand, such as your colors, logo, business cards, website, photography, and digital marketing (such as social media, ads, etc.)
Your logo is the first step of your Brand Identity and also the first impression you are showing everyone! You want to look like a million bucks (even if you are just starting out). A great image equals great validity and that gives the impression you are serious and professional about your business. Your Brand Identity includes business cards, letterhead, imagery for social media or blogs, sales & marketing collateral, product packaging, etc... Anywhere you want to show off your image as a business and be consistent with your company branding.
Brand Identity is the visual execution of your brand strategy and what your brand looks like from your logo, to color choices, etc.
